Since 2006, Stephan has helped numerous individuals and small businesses in several areas including tax planning and preparation, tax controversy, and offshore voluntary disclosures. He received his B.S. in Accounting from San Diego State University, and his J.D. with an emphasis in Taxation from Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law. He has been licensed to practice before the IRS as an Enrolled Agent since 2008, and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2014. Stephan is also a fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute, a designation that is regarded as evidence of significant expertise in the representation of taxpayers before the IRS. He was later involved with the Chapman University School of Law’s Tax Clinic where he represented clients in various stages of the Tax Court process. Stephan is dedicated to finding the best possible result for each client on an individualized basis.
He was born in Sacramento, and grew up nearby in Solano County. After high school, Stephan attended San Diego State University, where he met his wife Eva. He then went to work for a tax accounting firm for several years in Portland, Oregon, where he experienced several instances in which clients were apprehensive about dealing with the IRS, inspiring him to become a tax attorney. He moved back to California to pursue his law degree, where he was a published member of the Chapman Law Review, graduated cum laude, and gained invaluable experience working for a prominent tax attorney.
Stephan enjoys playing sports, playing the piano, watching movies, and going to Giants and Warriors games.

Eric is also a Sacramento area native, born and raised in the Gold Country. He is a graduate of El Dorado High School in Placerville, and later attended Cosumnes River College and California State University, Sacramento, where he obtained a degree in Business Administration.
As an experienced law office administrator, he has been on the executive management team of several successful local law firms specializing in bankruptcy and real estate litigation. Eric was also the Managing General Partner of a commercial real estate partnership based in Roseville since 1997. His wife is a real estate broker who operates a short sale business based in Roseville as well as the greater Sacramento metropolitan area. Eric’s working knowledge of real estate and his industry contacts have proven invaluable to our clients.
Eric has been a Little League Board Member and manager for the last 8 years. The Welch’s will celebrate their 34th wedding anniversary this summer. They have raised three children in the Roseville community.

Dan graduated from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law with distinction and joined the Traynor Honors Society. After graduation, Dan was hired as an Adjunct Professor at McGeorge School of Law to teach the evening sections of Principles of Legal Analysis I and II.
During law school, Dan interned for the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board in the Chief Counsel’s Office, the Eastern District of California Bankruptcy Court, and the California Central Appellate Program. Dan also worked through law school as a teaching assistant for Torts, Global Lawyering Skills II in appellate writing, and various first-year courses teaching legal research and writing.
Dan earned his B.A. in Philosophy and a Paralegal Certificate from CSU Chico. He graduated with honors after writing his capstone thesis, which discussed the merits of normative and descriptive models to shape judicial opinions. Dan worked as a paralegal for various organizations, including Legal Services of Northern California, a Chico public defender, and a private criminal defense firm.
Dan grew up on the border of Roseville and Granite Bay. In 2013 he earned his first-degree black belt in Jungshindo, and continues his training in Chico, California. He enjoys backpacking, reading, and discussing politics and current events.
As a paralegal, Christina provides support to the legal team. Christina graduated cum laude from Sierra College, Rocklin with 2 A.A. Degrees in Humanities. She then moved to Chico to attend California State University, Chico, where she graduated cum laude, with a B.A. in Humanities and a Minor in Classical Civilizations.
Christina enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, boating, and collecting art.
Brenda Guy, CPA
Brenda Guy, CPA, brings more than 25 years in diverse tax and business consulting experience to her role as a Tax Manager. Brenda is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in California. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento and her Masters in Taxation from Golden Gate University.
Brenda has gained extensive accounting experience through senior accountant and management roles for a variety of CPA firms located on the West Coast. She is dedicated to helping clients achieve business success by helping them establish practical and sound tax and financial processes. Focused on services for individuals, their families and small to medium sized businesses, she is committed to delivering tax and financial services that meet each client’s unique objectives.
Brenda enjoys sailing and spending time with her family.
Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant
As a bookkeeper and administrative assistant, Amie provides support to the legal team and tax practice. Amie graduated from California State University, Chico in 2011 with a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Humanities, specializing in Ancient Civilizations. She also earned two Associate of the Arts degrees with honors in General Humanities and Diverse Perspective.
Amie’s hobbies include reading, traveling, boating, and spending time with family and friends.
As an administrative assistant and receptionist, Stefanie specializes in client communication and provides support to the legal team. Stefanie was born and raised in Miami, Florida before moving to the Sacramento area in 2015. In February 2015, she received her Paralegal license from the University of Miami and has worked in the legal areas of personal injury, construction defect, and litigation.
Stefanie earned her B.A. in Mass Communications from Florida International University, and has worked with several high-end media outlets such as Clear Channel Communications and Latin media publication Venue Magazine.
In her spare time, Stefanie loves to workout, cook, travel, play with her dogs, and spend time with family.
